— SpinForge guides

Learn the workflow.

Two guides that cover the whole cup: the Studio itself, then the editing tools you shape a wrap with. Read online, then take it to the bench.

The Studio

Pick a blank, drop your art on the true-size template, and watch it wrap on the spinning cup.

01 · The Studio

  1. 1. Pick a blank

Choose your cup under Tumbler type. The template on the stage is the true wrap size — circumference around, printable height tall.

  2. 2. Drop in art

Insert text and shapes, upload SVG or images, or trace a photo to vector. Use Align selection to snap art to the front, the sides, or the seam.

  3. 3. Check it on the cup

The 3D preview spins the wrap on the real cup shape. Switch Cup finish to Engraved to preview powder coat and metal.

  4. 4. Export

Export gives you a 300 PPI print PNG, PDF, SVG, the tapered arc for cone-shaped cups, LightBurn and xTool projects, a mockup, a spin video and a customer proof link.

02 · Editing tools & print rules

Bleed
Keep 1/8" of background past the trim line on every side (the red dashed line). The wrap overlaps slightly at the seam, so bleed hides any gap.
Safe area
Keep text and faces inside the dotted safe area — 1/4" in from the top and bottom edges where heat-press pressure is weakest.
Seam
The yellow line is where the wrap meets itself. Art dragged across it wraps around automatically. Slide the Seam control to check patterns line up.
Handles
On handle tumblers the orange zones sit under the handle. Avoid important art there.
Mirroring
Most sublimation workflows mirror in the printer driver. Only tick Mirror on export if your driver does not.
Resolution
Export at 300 PPI. Uploaded raster art shows a warning when it would print under 300 PPI at its current size.
Tapered tumblers
A tapered tumbler is a cone, so a straight rectangle wrinkles. Export the tapered arc PNG and the taper template SVG — the art is warped into the arc that wraps flat.

Do I need an account?
No. The studio works without signing in. Forgehouse Pass unlocks every Forgehouse app.
My cup isn't listed.
Pick the closest blank in the Tumbler library and check its wrap size against your cup's template.
How do I send a proof?
Export → Send for approval creates a link your customer can open. Links you make show up under Proofs.
